Miniature 8x8 Blue LED Matrix has everything that a big LED matrix has, but it is smaller than standard LED matrices. The matrix has 64 blue LEDs which are contained in a plastic body. The LEDs are ordered in an 8x8 matrix. The LED matrix has 16 pins on the side which are spaced 0.1”, so the matrix can be used on a breadboard.

This LED matrix is common cathode. Since the display is in a grid, a multiplexer should be used to control it. The link to Arduino playground tutorial using MAX7219 can be found in Documents section.
